I'm not really good at typing about myself, with the limited space, so where to start? I am really pretty open and honest about how I feel, what made me feel the way I feel, and that candor has provided me with the best group of friends a person could ask for. I'm generally considered the life of the party (although I am pretty quiet and reserved for the most part...I don't get it, but I accept it!!), as I am, fun-loving, and I know how to have a good time and be a good friend. I have been nicknamed Mr. Reliable as I am always there for anybody in a time of need. I love being outdoors in the warm weather, playing sports, hiking, biking, chilling by a fire at night drinking some good beer and appreciating all that is going on around me. I'm a huge Cubs fan, so anytime I can catch a game is a great time for me!! In the winter, I prefer to be indoors, and become more of a sports spectator. I love watching the Bulls, Hawks, and Bears ans well as going out a lot to hang out with my friends. I also love to veg out on the couch and enjoy a good video game or movie marathon when not much else is going on. I work full-time as an engineer in LaGrange, IL. The type of person I am looking for is somebody that has similar interests as I do and is also looking for someone just to hang out with and have a good time, and potentially fall in love someday. I have no specific requirements of anybody, except that they are genuine, honest, and know how to treat people with kindness and respect. I've never been on a dating website until very recently, and I notice that it is hard going out and saying that I am depressed and expecting any responses, so I though I would try here. I do hope to date and fall in love someday because to me, love is the be all end all, would lift my spirits to a new high, and without it, there really is nothing else.

Am in the army and i have been in it for the past 30yrs now..am 55,and now in Afghanistan for a peace keeping and the mission is called operation freedom Afghanistan..i have a 20 yrs old son who is in UK in a military base hostel...for my survivor i thank my late mom for taking very good care of me,when my dad run(left)away from us, to be honest i have never set eyes on him according to my mom he left the time we needed him most.it really hurt so i don't want to talk about it...My late mom was badly hurt so she never dated any man...She raised me and care for me. I thank the Lord for the life of my mom...well i don't want to talk more about it...Now here i am.. I have been widowed for 8 years now and haven't done any dating since then. I do believe that we have a ton in common. I just registered on that dating website and you are the first person I'm writing off this site and because of this I'm given this all my attention and I wish the best out of this. I'm a single, have a son and live with my dog. My son is called "JEFF and he is 20 years old, he's such a smart kid.He is in a boarding school in Cambridge(Military school).My dog is also called "AMBER"-it's a German shepherd and is one and half years old.They are the only family i have in my life..We all have lot of fun together as one loving family - it's very friendly and social and has helped i and Jeffery so much...well let say luck is not on my side.....My mom thought me to be honest,caring,loving,trustworthy,scene of humor etc.well there may be errors in my life cose we are human and we are all not perfect......
